Eccalon Team Recognized with Three Communications Awards of Excellence

Hanover, MD — June 27th, 2022 —  Congratulations to the Eccalon team of communications professionals supporting the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) for winning three Awards of Excellence from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) 2022 Communicator Awards for the FY21 NSIN Year in Review annual report. NSIN received the highest honors for best government annual report, overall design, and copywriting for corporate communications.

The award-winning Eccalonian team included Suzanne Zurn, Head of Strategic Communications; Michelle Furman, Creative Graphic Design Specialist; Robyn Showanes, Communications Assistant; David Overy, Media & External Relations Specialist; and Mollie Becker, Marketing Specialist. Aly Gregg, Director of Internal Communications from our subcontractor, Civil-Military Innovation Institute (CMI2), was also a member of the project team.

The Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Founded 28 years ago and with over 5,000 entries received annually from across the U.S. and around the world, NSIN joins an elite group of winners who received the competition’s highest honor: including Forbes, The Walt Disney Company Europe & Africa, Mattel, State Farm, Philips, T-Mobile, Pepsico, and many more.
